Pulling a Luke, Round 2. 7/19/2008
Today I headed over to Peter's new house to help him move most of the junk over from where he was staying. We had a truck and trailer to move the stuff across the street. Peter and his father-in-law also were trying to install a metal door in his garage, which turned out to be quite the ordeal, taking most of the day. Moving the junk wouldn't have been so painful had it not been so hot both outside and inside the house. However, I took frequent breaks to avoid getting overheated, despite the constant jabs from Nicholas. Who didn't get ANY painting done, by the way. However, at the end of the day, we got almost everything moved in and the door was finally installed. So we had some pizza and called it a day. I'm sure Luke wishes he could have been here for this, as helping people move is by far his favorite activity.

Dang. Sounds like the best Saturday ever. I suffered through my sister's birthday party, resisting the urge to leave and go help. It wasn't easy.

I can comment now. How was the pizza? Was it good?

It was Papa Jiggity's. Not as good as Gramma's but still good. Moving sucked, though. Having Luke would have been a huge help.
