Merdik the Uninspired began his life as an underachiever. He just couldn't seem to get anything right and was poor even at his chosen studies. However, Merdik, through an elaborate mishap, was transported to the city of Sigil, where his life underwent a dramatic change. He was forced to adapt and his name quickly became a misnomer. Merdik was accompanied by a cat-person named "Frrrrrr," played by Rob. Together, they set up the "Ye Olde Discounte Magicke Itemme Shoppe," where Merdik's skills at crafting could be put to use. After setting up shop, Merdik and Frrrrrr embarked on several misadventures through the Plane of Shadow and into the Nine Hells.
