Cruckton started out as a caravan guard traveling across a vast desert. He and his friends were initially beset by endless bandits, but they eventually crushed them and their leader, the "Mountain Man". Afterwards, they explored some ancient ruins and found some archeologists and a prophecy. When one party member attempted to read an ancient book, she opened a portal to Limbo, where the heroes were forced to explore a sort of but not really dead god, Razal. The heroes somehow made it back to their world and created their own pocket dimension called Persephone. Eventually, the heroes learned of their destiny - to defeat the Sun King. After learning about history and some time travel, the heroes gathered the elemental powers of the world and ended up at the end of time. There, they altered history and rewrote the event that brought about the Sun King.
