Chapter 3, New Threats

When we got to the church, we found the windows smashed and the doors broken. This really got Desmond pissed and he began to consider seriously injuring the kids if they came back. We walked around and surveyed the damage, and something attacked Desmond's mind. He felt it, but wasn't sure what was going on. We immediately began rummaging around for someone hiding. After a few minutes, Desmond suddenly whacked me over the head with his wrench. It really hurt and I was about to yell at him, but it was obvious that someone had compelled him to do it. Desmond put up his Grim sight and saw that a ghost was among us. It appeared to be the ghost of a priest that used to hold services at the church a while ago. The ghost was yelling at Desmond, accusing us of acquiring the property to demolish the church and put in a parking garage or something. It was very strange. Desmond told the ghost that we were going to fix the place up and began using Matter to fix the smashed windows.
