Heinrich was a German immigrant straight out of the army. He signed on with the Cardington Institute as a special agent and was assigned to the Pillar station. Upon arriving, it was clear that the base was in bad shape. On their very first mission, they rescued a man named Li Tian and his partner from a ghost-infested military base in the woods. When they returned, the base had been destroyed by a fire demon and the group returned to the corporate headquarters.

Their next mission had them investigate some projectionists located in D.C. Their base of operations came under attack by paramilitary forces sent by Next World and the entire team was severely injured.

After recovering, the team then investigated reports of a Bigfoot located in Maine. The team headed out into the woods and discovered an actual race of Bigfoots living in secrecy. They underwent a test of sorts in a nearby cave where they saw some strange ghostly phenomena.

The team's final mission took them to Egypt, where they infiltrated a cult and could not seem to elude an angelic man by the name of Nathaniel. When things came to a head, Heinrich shot and killed Nathaniel. The team escaped in the stunned silence.

Before they could leave Egypt, they were abducted by aliens of the same race as Nathaniel. Held captive for several days, the alien ship eventually acquired some kind of virus and crashed landed back onto Earth. The team survived the crash and reported back to corporate.
