Chapter 3, The Clinic

Later, we had another visitor. She introduced herself as Leah from the same cabal that Eric and Nathan were in. She talked about the orphanage she worked at, and about how she routinely sent some of the children to a clinic to be tested for psychological disorders. She remembered that Eric had previously expressed suspicions about the clinic, and she wanted us to investigate it. She also said that something was strange about Eric's "degeneration" and she wanted us to see if we could discover anything about how he had gone mad. I mentioned that we suspected it was due to a paradox manifesting itself within him, but she wasn't sure. I agreed to take the case and she left us contact information. We decided to start right at the beginning and headed for the clinic to do some snooping. On the way there I checked behind us for tails, but we were safe for now. After arriving, we told the receptionist that we worked for the orphanage and were doing a safety inspection.
