Chapter 1, The Chase

We stopped at a nearby burger shack for some food, where Brian and Desmond taunted me. They knew something was obviously wrong with me, but were more concerned with annoying me and taking advantage of my temporary paranoia. Brian convinced me that one of the employees had poisoned my burger, so I ate his instead. Those jerks. After returning to the office, I felt a little better and checked up on Sarasvati again. I was shocked to see that she was being held at gunpoint and getting into the agents' car. Looks like today was going to be interesting after all. My partners and I quickly discussed a plan. Portaling in was not feasible because they were on the road and constantly moving, and there were lots of other people on the road who would almost certainly see us. We decided to do it the old fashioned way: Desmond got behind the wheel of our 4-door and we sped off after them. I scried them and was his makeshift GPS.
