The part about us all being involved bugged me. I asked him why he had involved us without our knowledge, but he said that we already were long before he met us. I'm not sure if I buy into all this fate nonsense. Meanwhile, Brian got plastered and began to spout gibberish at us. I told him to take it easy on the drinks, but he didn't want to. Desmond responded by turning his drinks into water, but Brian didn't even notice. Over the next few days, we fully recovered and recharged, and Brian and I went out to where Sarasvati was supposed to have turned herself in to the agents. The building contained what used to be a lab, an office, some holding cells, a server room, and some storage boxes containing psychoactive drugs. It was deserted, but we noticed that they had left the surveillance cameras running. Seemed odd. With a few days to rest and a lot more cash, hopefully we can be prepared for whatever happens next. End of Chapter 1
