Chapter 2, Errands

We returned to Angus and handed over the document. He came back to our building and Marcus greeted him. We discussed the plan of binding the spirit of the Doomsday Clock to the CPU and how to go about it. We researched the clock, and found the building that it was located in in Chicago. I was able to get enough info about the place to scry it and find a suitable conference room for Angus to do his work. We portaled into the room that night, saving both time and money on airfare and the like. I maintained the portal for a few hours, while Angus bound the spirit and Desmond listened at the door. After a while, he heard a janitor approaching, and thinking quickly, he used Matter to fuse the lock on the door. The janitor tried to insert his key repeatedly, and eventually got out his tools and began trying to remove the handle. Brian used Fate to give him bad luck and we heard curses as the janitor struggled with the handle. This slowed him down, but we knew he would eventually get the door open.
