Chapter 2, Fallen Hero

The next day, we went out to Angus's tower and spoke with him about essence. He had plenty, but he wouldn't give it to us for free. Whatever happened to helping people out? Angus couldn't think of anything, so he used Fate to make us swear an oath that we'd do him a favor sometime. I guess he doesn't trust us. He gave us some essence and we took it back to the spirit. We gave it some and it told us to basically "keep it coming" over the next few days. But it did stop spreading the spores. We needed to find Eric, so Brian searched for interconnections using Fate magic, and found a very strong one. He cast the same spell on me so that I could see it, and then I scried its endpoint and saw Eric. We had finally found him, and he was on the run. We hurried and picked up Nathan, as we thought Eric might listen to him. Desmond drove us towards Eric as I scried him. This wasn't going to be easy.
